HSE Coordinator - Micon Group, Inc.

Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States. Requires approximately 75% travel throughout the United States and long-term onsite projects with scheduled rotations home every six weeks.

What you will do

• Conduct weekly job-site visits, HSE audits, inspections, and environmental assessments.
• Investigate loss incidents and support emergency response activities.
• Assist operations with implementing and maintaining HSE programs and compliance.
• Identify and correct construction-specific job-site hazards.
• Facilitate safety trainings and meetings in a union environment.
• Support safety, environmental responsibility, and employee and community wellbeing across infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a safety professional in the construction industry.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction training, or the ability to obtain it within the approved timeframe.
• Valid driver's license for the vehicle type driven and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently, maintain strong attention to detail, travel extensively, and commit to long-term onsite projects.
• Confident public-speaking skills for safety trainings and meetings.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 510 and OSHA 500 certifications.
• BCSP certification such as CHST, ASP, or SCP.
• Experience with United States Army Corps of Engineers projects.
• Accredited degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Construction.
