HSE Safety Coordinator - Michels Energy Group, Inc.

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States; travel to projects across the United States, up to 75% regionally.

What you will do

• Visit project job sites and conduct HSE audits.
• Investigate incidents and support emergency response activities.
• Assist operations with implementing and communicating HSE programs.
• Lead safety meetings, trainings, and new-hire orientations.
• Travel to energy and infrastructure projects across the United States.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a safety role and 5 years of experience in the oil or gas industry.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for the vehicles used and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time regionally.

Nice to have

• Experience with duct banks, trenching, data centers, underground telecommunications, underground transmission, or mission-critical projects.
• Board of Certified Safety Professionals and/or Certified Utility Safety Professional credentials.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
