Project Manager (Zero-Emission Transportation)

What you will do

• Support administration of the $500 million Zero Emission School Bus and Infrastructure Incentive Project.
• Act as the primary liaison for incentive processing and technical project elements, including data collection, approved products, and approved vendors.
• Support a seamless joint application process covering zero-emission school buses and infrastructure from submission through reimbursement.
• Provide customer service to applicants and incentive recipients while explaining complex processes and requirements.
• Coordinate with the Salesforce and Incentive Processing teams to administer the applicant portal, process applications and reimbursements, and troubleshoot portal issues.
• Engage with state agencies, industry stakeholders, school districts, and internal teams on incentive design, policy implementation, project deliverables, and end-user experience.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of project management experience.
• Knowledge of the California or national school bus and/or infrastructure industry.
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into clear language for stakeholders and produce written and presentation-based deliverables.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, prioritization, and deadline-management skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, sustainability, environmental studies, or a related field, or analogous experience.

Nice to have

• Experience processing applications or reimbursements for zero-emission incentive projects.
• Experience with Salesforce.
• Experience planning or deploying zero-emission school buses and supporting infrastructure.
• Knowledge of advanced transportation, zero-emission vehicles, and supporting technologies.
