Project Manager - Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC)

Location: Initially home based anywhere in the United States with access to a major airport within one hour; relocation to the Charlotte, North Carolina area is expected after the first year, followed by a hybrid office schedule. The role includes approximately 30% overnight travel normally, up to 50% overnight travel during the initial home-based period, and daily on-site presence during plant commissioning when required.

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 annually, plus bonus for eligible positions.

What you will do

• Manage commercial and industrial projects through development, pre-construction, construction, and commissioning.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, internal teams, and external stakeholders as the primary project contact.
• Control project safety, scope, budget, schedule, risks, deliverables, and reporting, including projects with CAPEX above $50 million.
• Oversee permitting, contractor agreements, negotiations, bidding, estimating, equipment procurement, logistics, and material transport.
• Manage utility interconnections, land or land-rights acquisition, and compliance reporting for permits, contracts, lenders, and equity stakeholders.
• Deliver greenfield, brownfield, distressed-asset, EPC, and design-build projects involving biogas-to-RNG or biogas-to-electricity facilities.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of industrial-scale project management experience, including gas processing or related process facility projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• Experience with RNG, gas transmission and compression, gas treating, air separation, LNG, CNG, hydrogen, or related projects.
• Demonstrable experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, Primavera, or MS Project.
• Strong understanding of project controls and contract management, with the ability to manage concurrent projects across multiple states.
• Ability to travel, perform office and field/site work, and work safely in industrial environments, including at heights and in confined or congested spaces.
