Public & Labor Practice Leader - Employee Benefits (Insurance)

Salary: $180,000–$240,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, growth, and development of the Public & Labor Practice focused on employee benefits.
• Build carrier partnerships and expand brand relationships.
• Develop targeted sales and marketing strategies, industry-specific producer resources, and RFP responses.
• Educate producers on the public and labor value proposition and IMA’s consulting approach.
• Provide thought leadership and tailored strategies to service teams supporting public and labor clients.
• Develop talent pathways, feedback processes, and investment plans for the practice.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with public or labor clients.
• Leadership, strategic planning, relationship-building, influencing, and collaboration skills.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to execute strategy and assess interdependencies and consequences.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and oral communication, active listening, and solution-focused collaboration.
• Life and Health licensure must be attained and maintained. A four-year degree in business or a related discipline is preferred.
