Chemical Engineer Spring Co-op (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina, United States. Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week in a chemical plant.

What you will do

• Support improvement and expansion projects with experienced engineering professionals.
• Assist operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving.
• Participate in process safety management activities and reviews.
• Implement process improvements through the management of change process.
• Collaborate with external vendors to specify new and replacement equipment.
• Contribute to engineering team meetings and conference calls.

Requirements

• Be enrolled at an accredited college or university as a sophomore or above at the time of assignment.
• Be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or a similar field.
• Have familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Commit to at least six total months as a co-op; two or more terms may be required.
• Immigration sponsorship, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, TN, or other non-immigrant status sponsorship, is not available.
