What you will do
- Lead, recruit, mentor, and support the Chemical Engineering team.
- Drive the adoption of engineering technology and scale up new chemical products for commercial production.
- Lead Process Safety Management activities, including Change Management and Process Hazard Analysis.
- Define and maintain SOPs, batch records, process parameters, and bills of material.
- Specify, test, and improve production equipment and maintenance requirements.
- Support production by analyzing trial and production data, identifying root causes, and implementing process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
- Ten to fifteen years of engineering experience in product development or manufacturing.
- Experience leading teams and managing direct reports.
- Experience working at a site covered by Process Safety Management and implementing its program elements.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers and troubleshooting chemical, mechanical, and electrical issues.
- Strong problem-solving, risk-management, teamwork, and written and oral communication skills.
