Chemical Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Cordova, Illinois, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Travel may include up to 5%. Relocation assistance may be authorized.

Salary: $124,127–$151,710 annually, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product cost, service, and quality.
• Drive productivity improvements through continuous improvement activities.
• Write, maintain, and improve production standard operating procedures.
• Lead process safety management activities for assigned products.
• Maintain material balances and lead waste reduction projects.
• Support compliance with corporate policies, procedures, security standards, and environmental health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• At least two years of engineering experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.
• U.S. person status may need to be assessed because of export control requirements.
• Education and work history must be provided through a resume or application fields.

Nice to have

• Three years of engineering experience.
• Experience as a chemical engineer in a chemical manufacturing facility.
• Experience with reactor systems.
• Experience with distributed control systems.
