Project Manager II C&I

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; onsite in a company-designated office or field location

hirify.global subsidiary Sturgeon Electric provides large-scale electrical construction services, including commercial and industrial projects, telecommunications, traffic signalization, gas distribution, high-voltage distribution, design-build, and pre-construction services.

What you will do

• Prepare construction schedules, look-ahead documents, progress reports, billing information, and project deliverables.
• Manage day-to-day activities and serve as the primary point of contact for project personnel.
• Coordinate meetings, schedule updates, open items, and communications with clients and project stakeholders.
• Monitor job costs against budgets and report project status to management.
• Prepare labor and material estimates, bills of material, field take-offs, and estimate review materials.
• Participate in field walk-downs, document reviews, constructability assessments, and change-order preparation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management and estimating experience in the electrical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; relevant education and experience may be considered instead.
• Knowledge of specifications, proposals, project documentation, the National Electrical Code, and relevant local codes.
• Ability to read civil, architectural, structural, and mechanical plans and specifications related to electrical work.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Accubid or an equivalent tool, Microsoft Office, and construction scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
