Project Manager (Construction) (Renewable Energy)

Location: Onsite at the headquarters in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA

What you will do

• Manage multiple early- to mid-stage utility-scale renewable energy projects, including planning, execution, schedules, budgets, and project controls.
• Coordinate contract requirements, deliverables, client relations, vendors, third-party integrators, and main suppliers through engineering, construction, and initial operation.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics, risk profiles, cost performance, project schedules, and reporting processes.
• Lead stakeholder communication and serve as the primary project contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform risk analyses, constructability reviews, change management, and project handoffs.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, certification requirements, safety practices, and relevant OSHA regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• At least 5 years of engineering, construction, or technical project management experience, including 3 years with an EPC firm or renewable energy company.
• Experience managing pre-construction for multiple renewable energy projects and project controls for early-stage engineering, procurement, and pre-construction.
• Experience with contracts, stakeholder relations, project deliverables, performance metrics, schedules, risk profiles, and cost performance.
• Working knowledge of project scheduling concepts and tools such as MS Project and/or Primavera.
• Proficient spoken and written English and willingness and ability to work from the Charlottesville headquarters are required.
