What you will do

• Manage all phases of moderately complex technology projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and task-level activities.
• Control project scope, schedules, priorities, budgets, internal resource costs, risks, issues, and interdependencies.
• Coordinate internal staffing, lead day-to-day project team activities, and manage vendor relationships and contractual deliverables.
• Apply quality standards and governance frameworks while maintaining complete and accurate project documentation.
• Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes through meetings, status reviews, issue resolution discussions, and targeted reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of related IT or project management experience, including experience managing moderately complex technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of information technology concepts, systems, development lifecycles, and project management methodologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, documentation, multitasking, and time-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments, influence without direct authority, present to groups, and lead meetings.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to be punctual and dependable.

Nice to have

• Project management certification such as PMP or CAPM.
• ITIL or ITSM certification.
• Insurance or healthcare industry experience.
• Experience with project management and tracking tools such as JIRA.
