Floating Manager (Retail)

Location: 00174-Wheels, Shelton, Connecticut, United States; travel between store locations is required

Pay range: $22.03–$25.24 per hour

What you will do

• Support Store Managers at different convenience store locations and learn store operating procedures.
• Supervise, recruit, hire, train, motivate, develop, and discipline store staff.
• Manage customer service, store appearance, cleanliness, sanitation, and promotional initiatives.
• Order and receive merchandise, maintain fuel inventory records, coordinate gasoline deliveries, and control inventory variance.
• Complete daily accounting paperwork, bank deposits, ATM and lottery fund accounting, cashier audits, and cash control.
• Schedule and control payroll hours, maintain compliance records, operate security cameras where applicable, and report maintenance or unusual incidents.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Vocational or technical education, high school diploma, or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate with associates and guests and accurately count, read, and write to complete required paperwork.
• ServSafe or another approved food safety certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment or promotion.
• Ability to attend mandatory meetings and training sessions and cover manager vacancies at other store locations.
