Floating Assistant Branch Manager (Retail)

Location: Winchester, Virginia, with support for branches in Harrisonburg, Virginia; Hagerstown, Maryland; and Frederick, Maryland. Onsite work in retail shops, Monday through Friday during daytime hours.

Salary: $28–$31 per hour

What you will do

• Support day-to-day operations across multiple retail branches, including compliance, retail sales, warehousing, distribution, and scheduling.
• Manage inventory, cycle counts, receiving, inter-branch orders, showroom standards, and physical hardgoods inventories.
• Monitor SAP reports, open orders, deliveries, billing blocks, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate customer deliveries, order accuracy, sales promotions, merchandising, and marketing activities.
• Complete daily cash reconciliation, address errors, and initiate bank deposits.
• Train retail employees on operating standards and safety procedures and coordinate vendor product training.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least three years of experience in industrial retail, inside sales, customer service, or inventory control.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work across the Winchester, Harrisonburg, Hagerstown, and Frederick branch locations.
• Ability to perform operational, inventory, customer service, safety, and personnel-management duties satisfactorily.
