Employment Litigation and OSHA Associate (OSHA)

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana, United States; hybrid work

What you will do

• Defend and litigate employment-related lawsuits and agency discrimination charges.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Handle class and collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete matters.
• Advise employers on labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Work closely with the OSHA practice group, with a strong emphasis on OSHA matters.
• Participate in depositions, court appearances, client teams, and client training.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 3+ years of litigation experience; employment law experience is preferred.
• Some federal litigation experience is required.
• Current Louisiana Bar admission is required.
• OSHA experience or willingness to practice in OSHA.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, project management, and communication skills.
