What you will do

• Review, draft, negotiate, and manage customer contracts, leases, vendor agreements, amendments, renewals, and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Advise business and operational stakeholders on contract interpretation, risk allocation, performance obligations, and dispute mitigation.
• Support corporate governance, entity management, annual reports, board materials, corporate registrations, licensing, and certificates of authority.
• Advise on corporate, employment, labor, privacy, and ethical compliance matters, including training and education for staff.
• Manage pre-litigation disputes and coordinate with outside counsel on litigation, administrative claims, and other disputes.
• Provide concise, commercially focused legal advice and contribute to improving legal systems and processes.

Requirements

• Commercial contracts experience, including drafting, negotiation, and review.
• Employment or labor law experience.
• Admission in good standing to practice law in the home state and the ability to obtain corporate counsel admission in Kentucky.
• Excellent analytical, written, verbal, coordination, and time-management skills.
• Ability to advise and influence multiple stakeholders, negotiate effectively, build relationships, and manage legal risk.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and an international mindset.

Nice to have

• Property law experience.
• Experience in a multinational corporate group or law firm.
