SVP, Valuation Management (Real Estate)

Location: West Des Moines, Iowa, United States

Annual base salary: $125,000–$175,000, with potential discretionary bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the commercial valuation management and appraisal review process for bank and lending engagements.
• Guide valuation professionals, provide quality control, and supervise workflows to ensure timely delivery.
• Execute valuation reviews and client consulting engagements using organizational and technical skills.
• Review third-party appraisal reports, cash flows, consulting reports, and other deliverables.
• Communicate with clients, market participants, and coworkers to resolve non-compliant issues.
• Act as an engagement and client lead while managing projects and day-to-day client communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Real Estate, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 12 years of relevant industry experience, typically including 2 or more years in a VP-level role or equivalent.
• Strong real estate valuation expertise and experience leading valuation teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with Argus.

Nice to have

• Certified General Real Property Appraiser License.
• MAI designation or candidacy for the MAI designation.
