Managing Director, Real Estate Valuation Advisory

Location: Frisco, Texas, USA; full-time onsite role

Salary: $184,000–$330,690 per year, with actual compensation based on skills, experience, qualifications, certifications, work arrangements, and location.

What you will do

• Lead real estate valuation and advisory engagements, including overall engagement management.
• Develop valuations for properties and entities using discounted cash flow analysis in ARGUS and Microsoft Excel, direct capitalization, sales comparison, cost, and highest-and-best-use approaches.
• Drive business development through internal and external channels and assist with pursuing key clients and targets.
• Manage day-to-day activities of staff and maintain effective client relationships.
• Support marketing initiatives and published collateral, including quarterly real estate updates.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of experience in real estate valuation or consulting, including financial reporting valuations under ASC 805 and ASC 820.
• Certified General real estate appraiser license.
• MAI designation in progress.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to identify financial issues through financial statement review.
• Proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software, with the ability to adapt to new technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
