Senior Financial Analyst - Commercial Real Estate

Location: Onsite at the Rosemont, Illinois office; applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.

Salary: $90,000–$114,000 annually.

What you will do

• Build financial models for lease, acquisition, occupancy, valuation, and transaction strategies from landlord and tenant perspectives.
• Underwrite income-producing commercial real estate assets using ARGUS and Excel, including 10-year cash flow projections and investment metrics.
• Analyze lease proposals, buy-versus-lease scenarios, operating statements, budgets, market conditions, mortgage structures, and property-level risks.
• Review and abstract leases, contracts, and loan agreements; maintain accurate rent rolls and perform cash flow, termination, and sensitivity analyses.
• Support lease negotiations and deal execution by tracking terms, resolving underwriting issues, and collaborating with brokers, asset managers, project administrators, and clients.
• Present financial insights and recommendations while monitoring leasing structures, market trends, and industry developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience underwriting commercial real estate assets.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, ARGUS, and Costar.
• Strong analytical, research, communication, presentation, time management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Fundamental understanding of the physical condition and operations of commercial real estate buildings.
