Portfolio Management - Valuations & Analytics, AVP

Location: Miami, United States

Expected annual base salary: $135,000–$200,000, plus discretionary bonuses and potential equity or other incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Manage deliverables, develop and review valuation models, and prepare ad hoc analyses for infrastructure and hedge fund solutions portfolios.
• Lead valuation model completion in accordance with hirify.global policy, ASC 820, and external guidance.
• Drive onboarding for new portfolio investments and establish appropriate data collection procedures.
• Manage annual audits and interim reviews with third-party valuation firms.
• Improve valuation and reporting processes, procedures, offshore resources, and technology usage.
• Present valuation results to internal committees, senior leaders, external auditors, and limited partners while mentoring analysts and associates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a similar discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in valuations, transaction services, private equity, consulting, or relevant analytical roles.
• Thorough understanding of ASC 820 and valuation approaches including income, market, yield analysis, OPM, contingent claims, and PWERM.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• CFA and/or CPA certification.
• Experience managing a team.
• Experience with iLevel, 73 Strings, or a similar platform.
