Engineering Technician III (Engines and Generators)

Hourly compensation: $26.80–$33.50

What you will do

• Support new product development teams through test development, data analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
• Configure engines, generators, components, and systems for testing under simulated operating conditions.
• Set up and operate test equipment, record results, and analyze, interpret, document, and communicate test data.
• Assist with developing new test setups and procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and 5S activities for test cells, workstations, and equipment.
• Manage lab space, tools, components, work areas, and test cells while recommending product, system, and process improvements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a test environment is preferred, with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude related to engine or generator development.
• An associate degree from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot, assist others, answer technical questions, determine root causes, and provide technical leadership.
• Ability to work independently with limited direction, prioritize work, make decisions, and meet team goals and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, customer focus, and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience with hardware and software programming.
• Fabrication experience and proficiency with hand tools.
