Plant Accounting Manager (Manufacturing)

Salary: $88,700–$139,260 USD per year

What you will do

• Direct accounting policies and procedures and maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Manage the month-end close, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for labor, overhead, scrap, and capital expenditures.
• Analyze overhead spending, labor efficiency, and cost drivers to identify savings opportunities.
• Partner with plant operations and Finance teams to support improvement initiatives and strategic decisions.
• Coordinate cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and inventory control programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CMA or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, and Word.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and an uncompromising focus on accuracy.
• Ability to resolve complex, unstructured problems independently and work with minimal direction.
