Associate Apparel Product Developer

Location: Farmers Branch, Texas, United States. Hybrid job with Monday–Thursday in the office and Friday work from home; the role is expected to be largely or fully office-based. No company-sponsored relocation assistance is available.

What you will do

• Support seasonal apparel product development from concept through production readiness.
• Coordinate with Product Development, Design, Category Management, Sourcing, Planning, Sampling, Quality, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing partners.
• Support communication of milestones and deliverables and monitor new-product status.
• Troubleshoot design, material, trim, and fabric details and assist with developing new materials and trims.
• Coordinate product testing with internal and external laboratories and verify quality requirements for release.
• Recommend corrective actions and improvements to production methods, cost, quality, policies, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• College degree in Fashion, Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of related product development experience, including Design and Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of product development processes and apparel manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PLM, and AS400, with the ability to learn new programs.
• Strong analytical, verbal, written, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Experience with virtual meetings using Microsoft Teams, Citrix Webex, Zoom, or GoToMeeting.

Nice to have

• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
• Experience with Outlook calendar scheduling, PLM, OMS, and AS400.
• Experience with continuous improvement projects and lean principles in apparel manufacturing.
