Assistant Technical Designer (Fashion)

Location: Beverly Hills, California, United States; onsite, Monday–Friday during core business hours

What you will do

• Select appropriate block templates, define points of measure, accurately measure samples, and enter measurements into spec templates.
• Prepare samples and fit rooms, document fit sessions, take photos, and maintain fit comments and model images.
• Support final fit comments, required alterations, troubleshooting, and one-and-done fit corrections.
• Measure fit models twice monthly and support model sourcing, scheduling, castings, and measurements.
• Manage sample returns, filing, and monthly sample purge activities.
• Measure TOP samples, approve them in NetSuite, and participate in TOP try-on sessions as needed.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in technical design.
• Degree in Fashion specializing in Technical Design.
• Ability to use a tape measure and measure accurately using decimals and fractions.
• Ability to read and interpret spec sheets, identify knit and woven fabrics, and apply exposure to pattern-making, sewing, and fittings.
• Intermediate proficiency with G-Suite and Microsoft Office; Illustrator experience is a plus.
• Fluent English, including fashion, fabrication, and technical terminology, is required. Strong attention to detail, prioritization, communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skills are also required.
