Project Manager (Epic Delivery Owner)

What you will do

• Lead large, complex, and highly visible Epics, projects, and programmes across business and IT using Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery approaches.
• Partner with senior leaders up to VP and business CEO level to shape, prioritise, and deliver regulatory, digital, customer journey, and transformation initiatives.
• Chair Steering Committees and provide decision-ready updates covering scope, schedule, budget, risk, customer impact, and regulatory considerations.
• Own delivery governance, including RAID management, decision logs, evidence capture, reporting cadence, stakeholder engagement, and risk resolution.
• Drive business readiness and change adoption with Operations, Product, Compliance, Risk, Technology, and Business Readiness specialists.
• Lead feasibility, scoping, requirements, and impact assessments while coordinating cross-functional teams across locations and time zones.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in Epic, programme, or project management.
• Experience delivering large digital, regulatory, customer journey, or business transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of regulatory, compliance, operational resilience, and consumer protection issues in health insurance or financial services.
• Experience translating complex regulatory, operational, or digital requirements into delivery plans and business readiness activities.
• Experience managing budgets, financial forecasting, planning, cost control, and benefits across multi-year initiatives.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, including work across global teams.

Nice to have

• Business degree or equivalent practical experience.
• MSP, PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project or programme management certification.
• Experience managing global virtual teams, large-scale systems environments, multiple Scrum teams, or Release Trains.
