AI Project Manager

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work

Sateliot is a satellite company building a constellation that enables standard commercial devices to communicate directly from space.

What you will do

• Understand requester and end-user needs for AI projects.
• Plan and coordinate projects across the AI department's connected verticals.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, quality, and delivery from start to finish.
• Run daily task management in Jira or a similar tool, including boards, backlogs, priorities, deadlines, and status reporting.
• Track implementation across product, R&D, data science, and learning and development, identifying and resolving blockers and risks.
• Maintain visibility across the project portfolio and align technical teams with business stakeholders and the company roadmap.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing technical, software, or AI projects end to end.
• Strong knowledge of scope, planning, budgeting, risk, and dependency management.
• Hands-on daily experience with Jira or similar tools, including boards, workflows, backlog management, and reporting.
• Experience with agile team execution, sprints, stand-ups, task follow-up, and unblocking.
• Ability to coordinate different workstreams and translate between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML, data, or other deep-tech projects.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or agile/Scrum certification.
• Interest in space, connectivity, or IoT.
