Production Lead - Drill (Swing) (PCB Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate drilling and material-processing equipment while following established handling and machine-operation disciplines.
• Set and maintain equipment within operational parameters and meet or exceed output targets and production metrics.
• Read blueprints, customer standards, English instructions, and engineering notes to produce precisely designed products.
• Follow dispatch priorities and adjust schedules for hot orders and customer requirements.
• Maintain strict safety, quality, and process compliance while working closely with the production team.
• Propose tactical process adjustments and make decisions for other team members when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical education and relevant certifications are required for the skilled specialist level.
• Typically 4+ years of related experience and the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Knowledge of circuit board terminology and experience using inspection devices such as eye loops, calipers, and gauges.
• Good written and verbal English skills are required to understand blueprints, customer standards, and shop-control documents.
• Computer keyboarding skills for data entry and documentation; strong teamwork, hand, finger, and eye coordination.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, stand or sit for long periods, work weekend overtime, and work around chemicals.

Nice to have

• Printed circuit board manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement.
