Production Lead 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States; full-time onsite role. Primary work days are Thursday–Sunday, from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with schedules varying according to workload.

Salary: $19.00/hour plus a $1.25/hour shift premium. Overtime, call-in, and standby pay may also apply.

What you will do

• Lead machine operations and coordinate the crew to ensure safe and efficient equipment performance.
• Monitor production, staffing, output, and progress toward production goals.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and basic machine maintenance to improve quality and performance.
• Train and develop crew members, delegate assignments, and provide hands-on support.
• Monitor print, bundle, and product quality; adjust processes to reduce waste and spoilage.
• Maintain safety, production, labor, and quality records and communicate issues across shifts.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of related experience and basic computer skills.
• Experience leading a line or crew for one machine.
• Strong knowledge of machine and manufacturing operations, troubleshooting, and production reporting.
• Ability to prioritize work, assign machine staffing, and make decisions about processing speed.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, lifting up to 15 pounds, and pushing or pulling up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work the overnight Thursday–Sunday schedule, overtime, and in an industrial environment with moving mechanical parts, dust, paper particles, lift trucks, and elevated noise levels.
