Production Tech - Swing Shift

Location: Oregon City HQ, United States; onsite production-floor role on the swing shift.

What you will do

• Assemble knives from small components using manual and semi-automatic hand tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment.
• Perform fittings, alignments, cosmetic inspections, functionality tests, and minor troubleshooting.
• Support assembly functions including preparation, material handling, laser engraving, serration, sharpening, cleaning, and packaging.
• Use Andon signals and required documentation to communicate issues and record production information.
• Meet daily production, cycle-time, quality, safety, and performance requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities, cross-training, process development, validation, and operator training as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and 3–4 years of general manufacturing experience, or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to handle and assemble small parts.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical assembly issues across knife SKU types and determine cosmetic quality and knife functionality.
• Ability to work on a fast-paced flow line while meeting production, quality, and safety targets.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work while sitting or standing for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
