Operations Manager, Production (Manufacturing)

Location: Harrisonville, Missouri, USA; onsite full-time

What you will do

• Lead plant production, quality, and maintenance operations while ensuring employee safety, health, and well-being.
• Provide daily leadership and direction to the operations team, including leading production meetings and supporting team effectiveness.
• Design and implement manufacturing strategies to improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, volume, and production performance.
• Launch new programs and sustain their implementation across the operation.
• Develop department budgets, allocate resources, and use forecasts to build production plans.
• Implement Lean problem-solving, Training Within Industry, Total Productive Maintenance, continuous improvement, and employee development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Logistics and Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in a manufacturing environment and five or more years of experience leading people.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, decision-making, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience managing, motivating, and leading a diverse workforce, with a record of goal achievement and employee engagement.
• Ability to work under pressure, operate Windows-based computers, and develop strategic solutions with measurable results.
