Manager, Finance - Capital Reporting (Insurance)

Location: Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office attendance on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays

Salary: $109,000–$140,000 annually, plus potential eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead an FP&A team responsible for consolidated capital and Bermuda regulatory reporting.
• Own forecast coordination and processing, including analysis of forecast changes.
• Adapt department plans to address resource and operational challenges.
• Develop team talent through coaching, prioritization, feedback, performance reviews, and succession planning.
• Ensure work is performed within a controlled environment and serve as a process owner when required.
• Lead the team in alignment with departmental strategy and values while contributing to cross-functional initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
• At least eight years of accounting or finance experience, including three years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong people management, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and financial business systems.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of insurance products, statutory reporting, Bermuda regulatory reporting, and management reporting and analysis.
• Experience with Oracle ERP for planning and forecasting.
• Experience with Tagetik and/or Razor.
