Senior Human Resources Generalist (Manufacturing)

Location: Belvidere, Illinois, USA; onsite

Salary: $78,200–$117,400 USD per year, plus eligibility for short-term and long-term variable incentives.

What you will do

• Partner with internal business groups to coordinate HR programs and processes.
• Handle complex employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, mediation, and investigations.
• Identify leadership development needs and create targeted development programs.
• Implement policies and programs that improve employee engagement and performance.
• Advise managers on employee relations, training, and team development.
• Administer compensation programs, salary planning, and job evaluations while supporting compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of Human Resources experience.
• Strategic HR planning and decision-making skills.
• Experience handling employee relations, organizational change, policy development, and legal compliance.
• Ability to mentor less experienced HR staff and influence leadership decisions.

Nice to have

• PHR certification.
• Experience implementing HR processes and programs.
• Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Microsoft Office Suite and Workday experience.
• Problem-solving skills and experience managing shifting deadlines and priorities.
