Site Controller (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead finance for a complex chemical manufacturing site and serve as the primary interface with central corporate finance.
• Own the integrity of site financial reporting, balance sheet governance, audit readiness, and compliance with IFRS/GAAP, internal controls, and Group policies.
• Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, scenario modelling, performance reviews, and cost and profitability modelling.
• Partner with Operations, Commercial, Procurement, and the Site Leadership Team on contracts, investments, capital allocation, and operational decisions.
• Oversee SAP financial systems, month-end close, production accounting, inventory valuation, intercompany transactions, and Oracle HFM submissions.
• Manage site cash flow, working capital, inventory, payables, receivables, and a five-person finance team.

Requirements

• CPA qualification preferred, or a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Extensive manufacturing finance and cost accounting experience.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Strong SAP experience, digital skills, numerical and analytical abilities, and business acumen.
• Leadership, senior-level influencing, communication, negotiation, and cross-functional problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
