What you will do

• Lead plant accounting, cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial results and strategic plans in accordance with corporate standards.
• Develop and maintain standard costs, bills of materials, inventory valuations, and manufacturing performance analyses.
• Oversee physical inventories, cycle counts, reconciliations, and management of excess or obsolete inventory.
• Partner with plant operations, participate in production meetings, and provide financial insights for efficiency and cost improvement.
• Oversee and develop front-office and accounting staff while driving accountability and process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 3 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing finance principles.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or similar platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills, including building and analyzing complex spreadsheets.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
