Sr. Operational Controller Finance (Semiconductor)

Location: Austin, TX, United States

Salary: $144,000–$198,000 per year, plus potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Act as the primary finance business partner for New Product Introduction and New Product Commercialization operations.
• Develop business cases, ROI analyses, investment recommendations, and executive-level financial presentations.
• Lead product cost analysis, early cost modeling, profitability reviews, and cost-reduction initiatives with Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Evaluate manufacturing strategies, outsourcing alternatives, and make-versus-buy decisions.
• Support manufacturing readiness reviews and transitions from pilot manufacturing to high-volume manufacturing.
• Establish KPIs, monitor operational performance, and drive corrective actions and risk mitigation plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong financial modeling, planning, analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and cross-functional business teams.
• Ability to influence decisions across multiple organizations.
• Preferred: 6+ years of experience in FP&A, manufacturing finance, operations finance, or supply chain finance.
• Preferred experience with NPI, commercialization, cost accounting, inventory management, and operational performance metrics.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductors, high-tech manufacturing, or capital equipment.
• Knowledge of product development and commercialization processes.
• Experience working with senior leaders in complex global organizations.
