Plant Controller (Manufacturing Finance)

Location: Glens Falls, New York, United States; business travel within and outside the state is required.

Salary: $101,000–$152,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Provide finance support for the Glens Falls manufacturing facility and the Namic product division.
• Review, analyze, and present monthly financial results, trends, and performance metrics.
• Own the annual operating budget and forecast processes.
• Monitor plant costs and investigate variance drivers, including production volumes, factory expenses, and absorption.
• Perform financial modeling, scenario testing, and ROI analysis for senior leadership decisions.
• Partner with manufacturing staff on profitability improvement initiatives, process controls, reporting, BOMs, and product cost standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and an MBA are preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial planning, reporting, and/or analysis.
• At least 1 year of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 1 year of experience advising and counseling P&L or business owners.
• Experience leading profit improvement initiatives.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP financial systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• MBA.
