- Teach the equivalent of 18 course credits per academic year in sociology research methods, statistics, and specialty areas.

- Mentor students pursuing undergraduate research and support workforce preparation and career readiness.

Requirements
- Ph.D. in sociology; ABD candidates may be considered if the degree is completed by appointment.
- Outstanding research potential, demonstrated teaching excellence, and professional service.
- Prior teaching experience in a university setting.
- Ability to use or engage with quantitative research methods and teach research methods or statistics.
- Strong communication, independent work, collaboration, and student interaction skills.
