Customer Service Representative

Location: Horizon Lakewood, WA - H520; 3411 Chapel St. S, Lakewood, Washington 98499

Pay: $20.00–$23.00 per hour, with up to $2,500 available through summer performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Greet walk-in and phone customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations.
• Recommend complementary products and upsell options that support customers’ business needs.
• Prepare sales orders, assist customers with merchandise selection and loading, and make follow-up sales calls.
• Resolve customer complaints professionally and maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales center.
• Collaborate with sales center colleagues and use company resources to deliver effective customer service.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties.

Requirements

• Strong customer-service attitude, clear communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Dependable, self-motivated, cooperative, and able to work in a fast-paced environment serving business owners.
• Good computer and record-keeping skills, with the ability to learn evolving systems, programs, handheld technology, and processes.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Possess or obtain forklift certification and be at least 18 years old.
• External employment offers are contingent on successful pre-employment drug testing and background verification; the role is safety-sensitive.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
• Irrigation experience and knowledge of other landscape products.
