Location: La Porte, Texas, United States — hybrid at the Battleground Manufacturing Complex

Salary: $142,857–$170,000 annually, commensurate with experience

What you will do

  • Lead air regulatory compliance activities for the BMC manufacturing site.
  • Maintain compliance with NSR, PSD, PBR, Standard Permit, and Title V requirements, including data collection, audits, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Act as the primary company representative in air-compliance interactions with the EPA, TCEQ, and other environmental agencies.
  • Provide technical guidance on CEMS, PEMS, HRVOC, MON, RICE MACT, LDAR, MSS, MECT, Texas air regulations, emission events, and agreed orders.
  • Develop environmental performance indicators, improvement plans, compliance systems, and corrective-action initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations, laboratory, maintenance, safety, management, corporate SHE, regulators, and community stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of plant experience in regulatory compliance and environmental permitting.
  • 5–7 years managing air programs in a petrochemical or refinery facility.
  • Extensive experience with air permitting applications and multi-media environmental programs.
  • Ability to interpret SHE regulations and apply them to site operations.
  • Strong technical communication, leadership, coaching, mentoring, problem-solving, and database skills.
