Production Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, United States; onsite production role with 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends

What you will do

• Operate valves and instruments to control fluid levels, flows, temperatures, pressures, speeds, and equipment startups and shutdowns.
• Adjust processes through instrumentation, equipment changes, and chemical additions to maintain operational tolerances.
• Monitor production processes and associated equipment in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Investigate unusual process or mechanical situations and take or recommend corrective action.
• Follow safety procedures, use task-specific PPE, identify hazards, and report incidents.
• Achieve full qualification across assigned operator functions and assist with training less experienced operators.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a continuous operating environment on 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to accurately follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
• Critical thinking, sound judgment, integrity, teamwork, continuous learning, and equipment troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening examinations and assessments.
• Two years of trade school or college education is preferred.
