Supervisor, EHS

Location: hirify.global Orlando, United States; onsite park operations with extensive walking, standing, outdoor work, and flexible opening, mid-, closing, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

hirify.global operates an animal-focused theme park and entertainment business dedicated to animal rescue, guest experiences, and safety.

What you will do

• Supervise daily Health Services Department operations and support nurse and EMT staffing, onboarding, and training.
• Manage safety, general liability, workers’ compensation, environmental, and corporate safety initiatives.
• Investigate work-related and ride-related accidents, identify root causes, report incidents, and track workers’ compensation claims.
• Conduct physical inspections, audits, and compliance reviews for work areas, vehicles, equipment, training records, chemicals, and safety systems.
• Manage hazardous, medical, universal, electronic, residual, and other waste streams, including generation tracking and sustainability data collection.
• Maintain EHS inventories and chemical management records, review process and equipment changes, and participate in safety meetings and Manager on Duty rotations.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age and a valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current CPR certification approved by the State Department of Health.
• Ability to interpret safety regulations, recognize safe practices, communicate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and use Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs and perform walking, standing, climbing, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and fine-motor tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and around fumes, dust, odors, chemicals, and temperature extremes.

Nice to have

• EMT certification with three years of prehospital experience.
• Knowledge of fire extinguishers, fire alarms, and fire suppression systems.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
• OSHA 10 General Industry and hazardous materials awareness training.
