Environmental, Health & Safety Manager

Location: New Johnsonville, Tennessee, United States; onsite at the hirify.global New Johnsonville facility. Relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $126,067–$196,980 annual base pay; annual bonus target: 14%.

What you will do

• Lead training, environmental compliance, workplace safety, and Process Safety Management programs across the site.
• Manage EHS team resources to support corporate and regulatory compliance.
• Implement and standardize EHS best practices across the Johnsonville facility.
• Coach site staff and area leaders while driving accountability and continuous improvement in EHS performance.
• Support operational learning, injury and illness classification, regulatory interactions, audits, and community concerns.
• Develop and support the annual site EHS strategy and objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, safety, or safety management.
• 10+ years of experience in safety and Process Safety Management activities, including high-hazard chemical operations and regulated facilities.
• 2+ years of people management experience and experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Strong technical and regulatory knowledge of safety and PSM, including OSHA PSM regulations.
• Ability to develop, implement, audit, and improve EHS systems related to PSM and RC14001.
• Strong coaching, communication, problem-solving, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• 5+ years of experience in high-hazard chemical process environments.
