Senior Safety Consultant (ASP or CSP)

Location: Windsor, Connecticut, or the Boston area offices in Woburn or Braintree, Massachusetts; travel to client sites as needed.

Salary: USD $97,864–$160,000 per year, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and implement written health and safety programs covering hazard communication, lockout/tagout, confined space, fall protection, PPE, electrical safety, hot work, and machine guarding.
• Develop, deliver, and support safety training programs.
• Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and conduct OSHA and state health and safety compliance audits.
• Design, develop, and implement health and safety management systems aligned with ISO 45001 and ANSI Z10.
• Manage projects, provide mentoring and oversight, prepare client deliverables, and coordinate service delivery.
• Develop client relationships, support account teams, and contribute to business growth.

Requirements

• Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification required; Certified Safety Professional (CSP) strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial hygiene, science, engineering, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience across manufacturing environments and experience with utility industry safety services.
• Experience conducting OSHA audits, developing OSHA compliance programs, performing safety due diligence, and implementing ISO 45001 safety management systems.
• Strong written and oral communication, technical health and safety, project management, consulting, and client relationship skills.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to commute to project sites, pass background, drug, physical, and motor vehicle checks, carry equipment up to 40 lbs, and climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs.
