Senior Safety Consultant - CSP

Location: New York, New York; requires reporting to a NY/NJ office, commuting to project sites, and travel to client locations as needed.

Salary: USD $97,864–$160,000 per year, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and implement written health and safety programs covering hazard communication, lockout/tagout, confined space, fall protection, PPE, electrical safety, hot work, and machine guarding.
• Develop, deliver, and support safety training programs.
• Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and conduct OSHA health and safety compliance audits.
• Design, develop, and implement health and safety management systems aligned with ISO 45001, ANSI Z10, and other applicable standards.
• Manage projects, prepare client deliverables, mentor staff, and coordinate project activities.
• Build client relationships, support business development, and assist industrial operations across multiple sectors.

Requirements

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial hygiene, science, engineering, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in manufacturing environments across the targeted industries.
• Experience developing and delivering OSHA compliance programs, conducting OSHA audits, and performing safety due diligence assessments.
• Strong written and verbal communication, technical health and safety, consulting, project management, and client relationship skills.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to commute to project sites, pass background, drug, physical, and motor vehicle checks, carry equipment up to 40 lbs, and climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs.
