Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator

Location: Loveland, Colorado, USA; combination of field and office work with local and occasional overnight travel

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Coordinate project resources, equipment, PPE, supplies, schedules, and daily field assignments with project managers and field staff.
• Support daily field operations, safety activities, and data quality objectives for site-specific programs.
• Verify compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, sample-handling procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Conduct field audits and inspections, address non-compliance, and identify and mitigate operational hazards.
• Conduct safety briefings and support training and mentoring for field personnel.
• Collaborate with project and safety teams to develop and implement Health and Safety Plans in accordance with OSHA and company guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 3–5 years of quality assurance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of background, motor vehicle records, and drug checks.
• Ability to perform outdoor field work, travel locally and occasionally overnight, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, project management, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work independently with cross-functional teams and personnel at all levels.

Nice to have

• OSHA 10 or 30 Construction certification, or willingness to complete the training.
• Familiarity with OSHA Construction or General Industry standards.
• Familiarity with Colorado Energy & Carbon Management Commission regulations.
