Finance Systems Senior Solution Architect (AI/ML)

Location: Boston, United States. The role is eligible for the Flex persona.

Salary: $194,040–$237,160 per year, plus variable pay.

What you will do

• Define and maintain a multi-year technology roadmap for Finance systems in alignment with business and enterprise architecture strategy.
• Lead the architecture, design, implementation, and support of backend Finance applications, ERP platforms, and vendor SaaS integrations.
• Translate enterprise standards into solution designs, technical specifications, lifecycle decisions, and implementation guidance.
• Design technical controls that protect data integrity, security, compliance, and audit readiness across financial systems.
• Document end-to-end data flows and resolve technical gaps and interdependencies across business and IT teams.
• Evaluate and champion AI/ML opportunities for process automation, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and improved financial controls.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of Information Technology experience, including significant strategic or architecture-focused work.
• At least 8 years delivering enterprise business-system solutions, particularly financial applications.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale application architecture, design, development, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and FP&A; Oracle Financials knowledge is preferred.
• Experience applying AI/ML to business problems and working with programming languages and databases such as SQL and Java.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare and familiarity with HIPAA, HiTrust, and SOC audit and compliance requirements.
