Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect

Location: Onsite at Hill AFB, Utah; all applicants must currently reside in the United States.

Salary: USD $151,745–$179,550 per year.

What you will do

• Lead a team of developers and engineers supporting the Sentinel Integration Support Contract for a U.S. Air Force strategic deterrence program.
• Identify business and technical challenges and develop advanced solutions across IT teams and disciplines.
• Design scalable, modular, and resilient enterprise platforms, including endpoint devices, cloud services, virtualized applications, storage systems, and containerized solutions.
• Define integration patterns and APIs for interoperability between platform services and third-party systems.
• Advise on cybersecurity, system architecture, cloud management, operational efficiency, and IT best practices.
• Conduct architecture reviews, assess technical risks, guide emerging technology adoption, integrate on-premises networks with hybrid cloud infrastructure, and lead secure data migration projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma and 12+ years of related IT or program management experience.
• BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Software, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience in an applicable domain.
• 14 years of progressive experience, or 12 years with an MS degree, in systems integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems or processes, or a commercial equivalent.
• 10 years of experience in system design, integration, and analytical efforts.
• Top Secret eligibility or clearance is associated with the role.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform; AWS Cloud Platform knowledge and AWS Cloud Certification are preferred.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering concepts and experience supporting large-scale deployments as an administrator.
• Experience with technical project management, standards development, process improvement, and process management.
• Technical knowledge of network, storage, server, and database technologies.
• Ability to review, analyze, document, and explain technical systems and data.
• Knowledge of migrating or extending on-premises software to the cloud.
• SQL skills for reading and interpreting tables and columns, User Acceptance Testing experience, and strong customer service skills.
• Fast, aggressive learner; Microsoft and Oracle certifications are preferred.
