Operations Manager, General (Automotive)

What you will do

• Manage all aspects of a vehicle reconditioning center, including workflow, operating expenses, productivity, quality, and bottom-line performance.
• Ensure dealerships receive a sufficient variety of high-quality vehicles that meet sales demand.
• Verify that auction-purchased vehicles meet company standards before shipment to retail stores and eligibility for the customer warranty.
• Set supply chain goals with regional management and the buyer team.
• Recruit, screen, hire, train, and develop reconditioning center employees while working to reduce turnover.
• Evaluate team performance, provide regular feedback, conduct meetings, and support performance reviews.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a business degree or vocational/technical education is relevant.
• At least 4 years of experience managing 15 or more employees.
• Ability to manage employees and customers at all levels and collaborate with corporate groups.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• English communication is required for effective performance in a safety-sensitive and technical environment.

Nice to have

• 5–7 years of total automotive repair experience.
• Supply chain management experience.
