General Manager, Cincinnati Market (Manufacturing and Logistics)

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; onsite in the office every day with weekly visits to local businesses

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day operations for the Cincinnati market and oversee P&L performance.
• Drive revenue growth, business development, market-entry strategy, and supporting marketing initiatives.
• Build target lists, cultivate strategic accounts and partnerships, and maintain regular business communications.
• Manage the district team and recruit, hire, coach, and develop additional team members as the market grows.
• Manage CRM processes and identify scalable ways to recruit business users.
• Resolve operational issues, collaborate with other market leaders, and provide market feedback to product management and technology development.

Requirements

• Direct experience working with or advising logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing industries.
• Leadership experience with teams, cross-functional projects, or organizations, including hiring, coaching, and capacity planning.
• At least 5 years of post-university experience; 8 years of work experience is considered ideal.
• Demonstrated results, strong communication and storytelling skills, and the ability to analyze complex problems using data.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in the office every day and visit local businesses each week; remote candidates will not be considered.

• Entrepreneurial experience, site startup experience, or independent leadership of a project, group, or organization.
