Electromechanical Field Service Technician III

Location: Dallas, TX, US; work may be home office-based or customer site-based, with travel and possible shift work required.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair complex electromechanical equipment at customer sites.
• Respond to service calls, support operators, and resolve operational, maintenance, and escalated technical issues.
• Analyze mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures to reduce equipment downtime.
• Manage parts, tools, test equipment, shipments, maintenance records, and service reports.
• Coordinate communication between technical support, management, and customers on technical matters and projects.
• Assist with on-site training and development of less experienced field service technicians.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum four years of relevant work experience, including at least two years in a field service environment.
• Hands-on experience with electromechanical equipment and proficiency in electromechanical troubleshooting.
• Understanding of electronic principles and working knowledge of computer systems, PCs, and networking.
• Previous customer-facing experience and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to use a laptop or tablet for administrative and diagnostic tasks; a personal vehicle or company fleet vehicle may be required.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or trade/technical school certificate or diploma.
• Experience with solenoids, belts, rollers, bearings, pneumatics, and guides.
