Production Service Technician III / Associate III, Production Support (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, sensor, motor, and control-system failures on automated production equipment.
• Use pressure gauges, calipers, digital voltage meters, and progressively more advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Repair and adjust mail sort, unwinder, folder, pressure sealer, punch, perforation, cutting, and bursting units.
• Repair three-phase motors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, PLCs, gears, chains, pumps, conveyors, and related components.
• Recommend and document preventive maintenance, record equipment downtime, and interpret equipment schematics and blueprints.
• Install and update basic equipment software and hardware while collaborating with software development and DevOps teams on production reliability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience troubleshooting electromechanical, electrical, sensor, motor, and control-system failures.
• Experience replacing and adjusting belts, bearings, rollers, chains, sprockets, pulleys, motors, actuators, and other machine components.
• Experience maintaining high-speed manufacturing, mailing, inserting, printing, packaging, or similar automated equipment.
• Ability to isolate failures through systematic root-cause troubleshooting.
• Approximately four years of fast production machine experience is strongly preferred.
